#ARMCHAIRHOODOO MEMES

Armchair Hoodoo memes are the result of a collaboration between Denise Alvarado and Carolina Dean and are under full copyright (with the exception of Kermit the Frog who was created by Jim Hensen in 1955, © Disney). They may not be used in any way for profit; neither packaged, bundled in print or digital form or any type of media.

Not every one will "get" our memes, and that is quite alright. They are written for a specific population of people into the current trending conjure arts and African-derived traditions (ATRs) online, and in particular on Facebook. Far too many grandmother stories, conflicts and hatin' going on, so our solution is satirical commentary with the #armchairhoodoo memes, with an ocassional #armchairvoodoo and #armchairshaman thrown in for good measure.

Below are a variety of #armchairhoodoo memes for your enjoyment. Feel free to share and whatever you do, don't take yourself too seriously (keep the sweet tea and cookies nearby).
